Trippy is a URL shortener started by the owner of Unveiled Entertainment, which takes long URLs otherwise known as "links" and turns them into a few random characters after the Trippy domain. The advantages are that you have a nice clean looking link which is short enough to be posted to social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and others. The reason for the creation of Trippy is to provide a better service to complement the sites you love. There's no reason why there should be problems with long links, so sharing something as simple as a Yahoo! Map should not take away from your experience.

The web works in a unique way, it's not like books where each book is separate and the pages even more. Instead, links help spread information, resources, and are a way to recommend anything to others.
